Meet The Brothers: Jacob & Mason

At Colpak, every journey tells a story. And for brothers Jacob and Mason (sons of Colpak founder Colin Pakai), driving isn’t just a job – it’s a family legacy that was important for them to uphold.

Following in their father’s footsteps, these two have dedicated themselves to upholding the family’s name on the road by becoming two of the most dedicated and trusted heavy haulage operators at the company.

A lifetime on the road

Jacob, the older of the two, has been with Colpak for ten years and grew up immersed in the company’s culture. From a young age, he spent his school holidays around trucks and learning the business from the ground up – and with his early interest in trucking firmly formed, he knew he wanted to follow his father’s path and make an impact at Colpak.

Meanwhile, Mason’s journey took a different route. Initially set on a sports career after excelling in rugby and boxing, he didn’t see himself as a truck driver. However, after he began working part-time at Colpak, he soon found himself drawn to the business and its culture. Encouraged by his family, he eventually earned his truck licence and became a full-time driver alongside his brother Jacob.

Carrying the family legacy forward

The dedication of these two brothers in reflecting Colpak’s values is a huge part of what has driven our success over the years. Our drivers are expected to ensure every haul is executed with the utmost care and professionalism – and since it’s in their blood, Jacob and Mason carry this passion and commitment to doing every job right in every journey.

For these two, it’s about more than just getting the job done right: it’s about upholding their family’s legacy and making sure Colpak delivers on its promises. In every mile they travel, Jacob and Mason carry forward the Colpak legacy of dedication, safety, and integrity. No matter whether they’re tackling challenging routes or handling complex loads.

These two brothers are a reminder of the family values and natural professionalism that set Colpak apart.
